Lifeyo: Let people make websites

Lifeyo is a new, Southern California-based startup that is on a mission to make polished, professional websites accessible to anyone. We do it with easy-to-use tools that work fast and require little know-how: One-touch publishing, drag-and-drop editing, and pixel-perfect web design templates make Lifeyo simple, yet extraordinarily powerful.

Our job is empower real people to do more with the Internet. And while we're at it, we're going to make it fun.

Self-touted as the “the people’s website builder”, Lifeyo is an application that will let you come up with a website of your very own. The democratic aspect that was mentioned above means that building a site is within everybody’s grasp - there are no technicalities at play, and you don’t need to have the slightest idea when it comes to coding or programming.

For example, editing the site is taken care of in a drag and drop fashion. All you have to do is type what you want to transmit in order to have it conveyed exactly like that along with the pictures that you have dragged into position. And you don’t have to worry about the servers that your site will be hosted on - that is taken care of by the company, and no fees have to be paid for the actual storage of your files.

Structurally speaking, there are a couple of themes for you to choose from and the sites that you can create can have both photo galleries and blogs that are easily updated. That is enough to cater the needs of 90 % of casual users, and if you think you are part of that percentage you might as well pay the site a visit and take the provided tour to learn more.

A common goal among experienced web developers is to develop and deploy applications that are flexible and easily maintainable. An important consideration in reaching this goal is the separation of business logic from presentation logic. Developers use web template systems (with varying degrees of success) to maintain this separation.
